A three piece jewelry study made with the financial support of the Finnish Arts promotion center (Taike)

Fertility is an essential part of all beings and therefore almost taken for granted. It is a matter deeply personal yet social and often seen as strongly feminine. My study deals with thoughts of my own femininity related to fertility and change. 

Fragile fertility consists of three individual pieces but held as one they represent the whole: The stages from evolvement to diminishing. The usage of common hen's eggs represent the conventionality of the theme and through modification something considered stable turns into fragile.
